Cliche Verre

(Upside down)
During the Cliche Verre lesson I learned how to make a positive of a photo. We also learned that photographers used to blacken a piece of glass over a candle and etch an image into it, rather than paint one like we did. I also learned that you have to be careful while painting because painting too dark will keep the parts of the paper from being exposed, and too much light will make the parts that are exposed too dark. I enjoyed the assignment, mostly because I enjoy painting. I found the process to be interesting and enjoyable.

Pinhole Photography

5 things I learned about pinhole photography is that it requires a lot of patients, the right amount of light, the right size object to use as a camera, the right amount of exposure based on the lighting, and a good and consistent location. I really enjoyed the assignment, it was a nice change to get outside of the classroom for once and I really learned a lot about the way that cameras work, and the way that pictures used to be developed in the dark room.
